Why haven't I been writing? Simply—talk overload.

Where did this talk overload come from? About 7 weeks ago, around the beginning of March, a friend of mine whom I shall call K, caught me online in a really, really bad moment for me. I told her that sure, she could stay in my apartment for a few days. A few days.

I just dropped her off at the local long-stay motel on SUNDAY. That's not a few days, that's seven weeks.

Let me be blunt: It was hell. Sheer, teethgrinding, distilled, purified, and condensed annoyance poured out of that person's pores and seethed through the apartment like the goo from Ghostbusters.

And that's all I really want to say about that right now.

I've been in that position, a couple years before LiveJournal (and Kathy still feels bad about it, since it was her friend, so I don't bring it up). Teethgrinding hell is exactly right.
