We managed to get up to 20mph—unfortunately it was on a reverse. He was attempting a three point turn but was going in the wrong direction and while attempting to turn the steering wheel the proper direction, he hit the gas, somehow. . .
That was interesting.
And no, he's not learning in my car, he's learning in my mom's, which is an automatic. I figure it's not a bad idea to learn how to drive and not hit shit—oh, and stay on the right side of the road, goddamnit— before he learns how to shift.
