Because Empire Records is one of my favoooooorite movies and I will take any chance to talk about it.

The keywords on this one are "movies: ER: explain my art" ... which doesn't really tell you much, does it? And

Basically, in this scene in the movie, AJ is supergluing quarters down to the floor and Warren, a shoplifter who's been recently caught and is now (I believe) handcuffed to the sofa, is watching him. Warren asks AJ what he's doing repeatedly until AJ finally answers "I don't feel the need to explain my art to you, Warren."

I use this icon when I am feeling particularly cryptic.

Basically, if you've played World of Warcraft, you're laughing already. If you haven't, go watch this video of an Onyxia [dragon] wipe (VERY NSFW! VERY! sound/graphics are pretty lewd/crude/rude).

OK, so if you watched the video you might understand now. For the rest of you who couldn't watch it for whatever reason, basically they grouped up to fight a dragon and someone screwed up, thus points were taken away from them... but it's a lot funnier than that. Sorry. I suck at this.

I use this icon when I am being silly.

These are Super Mario (video game) flowers that give you the ability to shoot pellets. I believe they're called fire flowers.

I should really use this icon more, but I generally only use it when I am feeling awesome and that is rare.

This is from Hyperbole & A Half (go google it if you don't know what that is, I'll wait) and I ganked it and made it into an icon because sometimes this is my entire life.

I generally use it when that is the sentiment I wish to convey: this blows & I wanted something else, kthx.

For someone that doesn't have a lot of love for math, I actually have a lot of math icons. Hm.

This icon is rarely used, but occasionally it merits its place by being pulled out when there is DRAMA-RAMA.
