So Monday: County attorney calls. Find out Josh has a lawyer and he's expensive; never good news. Doctor's appt. He wrote me the most supportive doctor's note I've ever seen.

Tuesday: Gave Aidyn and the ferrets back to Josh, via his lawyer.

Wednesday: Hearing for the Civil Protection Order. Find out Josh has hired a lovely victim blaming costly lawyer. Am amused (because so much evidence, you think I was born yesterday?), but also furious.

Thursday: ~~~lalala fairies or packing or something~~~

Friday: Went back to work and begged for something; am starting in a two-hours-a-week supervised position. Thank god.

Saturday: ~~~packing~~~ talked to my parents. They're keeping the cats. Anyone want a cat?

Sunday: cast rehearsal!

the ferrets were both of ours, I couldn't handle taking care of them by myself (three ferrets is a LOT of very ammonia-smelling poop)
aidyn was josh's to begin with, yes.

They're my cats atm; I took them in from a friend in March. She was evicted and had to get rid of 2 of her three cats. They're sweet, loving, and adorable. I would keep them but frankly my father doesn't want to deal with 3 cats* and 2 dogs in their house, and I respect that.

(my two and my sister's, if you were wondering where the third cat came from :P)

I have no idea how josh is affording it. my guess is his sister.

cast rehearsal for thisismybrave.org, performance on may 15th but my sister says it's like 20 bucks a ticket

It's really hurting. I just had to have a forty five minute petting session with Teyla to feel even a little better about leaving Aidyn behind. The worst thought is that Josh will go to jail and Aidyn will end up—where? It kills me.

-offers hugs- Even if pets aren't "ours", living with them means they still impact you and take up space in your heart. I hope that Aidyn ends up okay, in the end. And I'm glad that you have Teyla still. ♥

it would be a terrible fucking idea when I don't have my own situation pinned down so I'm suppressing the urge to go KITTIES but I miss having a cat so damn much :( (mine died in February)

is your sister back at your parents or is just her cat?

I don't know if I'll get any results, but I sent out feelers in my rescue community to see if anyone knows anyone in your area (even people who do transports there) to see about the kitties who need rehoming. <3 May or may not find anything, but wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you and attempting to do concrete things even though I have no extras to toss in the hat.

seriously if you can take one; i have a prospective home for the other one. and she's my favorite. she's just like, two or three, has her shots, i have her papers somewhere.

also i think that if you can't promise a forever home, my parents would be willing to take her back once the other cat is gone. four is apparently their limit :P
