so in the culmination of a very long story about how i tried to do the dyke march and it turns out that i'm too disabled, i caught a cab home and in the groggy haze of OWwwwwwWW left my phone on the porch of a nearby house where I was waiting while Elle flagged me down a cab.

faith in humanity continues. ideas for what i could send this person in thanks (they are going on a trip, so mail may be long long delayed) are welcome.

Yay, humanity!!! I think a card of thanks should be sufficient, really. I might be inclined to send along sweets, but if they're off for a long trip that might not work so well. If you simply want to do a gift, maybe pretty papers/stationary or a ton of stickers that say "you are awesome!" or some such? Just something light and silly.

(Okay, I'm sorry - I'm super-terrible at this.)

as a brit I feel that a nice box of tea would be an excellent present, but not everyone does tea. IDK, do you have any gift cards you're not using you can pass along?
