Medication update:

Currently adding Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) to the cocktail of Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) & Abilify (aripraprazole).

I'll keep you updated on whether or not speed seems to help as an adjunct.

I have officially reached the pinnacle of treatment, by the way—I'm on controlled substances to deal with depression. Picture me rolling my eyes here.

Mad props to my psychiatrist, who has the stones and the faith in me to prescribe whatever we feel is necessary to combat this hellish disease.

I have a delayed release thing, so less so. But within a day of trying it I felt distinct improvement.

Pristiq - that's a new one on me. Similar to Effexor?

It's a metabolite of Effexor, yeah, which basically means they repackaged it. But it seems to work better so I'm not complaining.
